TV

Living Room

The living room TV is connected to an AppleTV; we do not have cable in the house. The AppleTV in both the living room and the bedrooms have several subscriptions for entertainment (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc). The single AppleTV remote will turn on the TV/Amp via tapping the Menu button. The + / – buttons will control the volume of the amp. Use the Samsung remote and press the Power button to turn off the TV when done or just walk away and let the idle timeout turn them all off.

Bedroom

The bedroom TV is controlled with both the AppleTV remote and the amp remote which activates both the TV and the amp. Press the Power button on the amp while aiming the remote at the center of the TV. The TV and amp should turn on. You must hold the remote at both when you press, the TV or amp may not turn on if it didn’t see the remote signal. If the TV doesn’t turn on the TV Power button next to the middle power button will turn on/off just the TV if they get out of sync.

NOTE: Once in a while the TV will lose signal (due to the LED light sync hardware). Press the TV Power button to turn it off, then press it again to turn it back on and it will sync again to the AppleTV.
